Hi, I’m Gabe Ornstein, I'm a rising sophomore at Ramapo High School in New Jersey. I play both football and lacrosse, and I’m currently working toward my Outdoor Emergency Care (OEC) certification with the goal of joining the National Ski Patrol next winter. Sports have been a huge part of my life, and through both playing and training in emergency care, I’ve become really aware of how important safety is—especially when it comes to head injuries.That is why I formed Project Safe Play. The Q-Collar is FDA-cleared technology—but cost and medical-device rules leave too many young athletes without access. We partner with teams, leagues, and sponsors to fund collars at cost for players in need and to spread awareness where it matters: in your community.
